OUTREACH TEAM

We are young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 living in community. We have a desire to share the love of Jesus Christ with young people all while deepening our own faith.

“Before people can ask the Lord for help, they must believe in him; and before they can believe in him they must hear about him; and for them to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them.”

The purpose of the
Catholic Outreach Team is to:

  • Lead young people to discover the richness of the Catholic Christian faith

  • Challenge young people to a personal relationship with God

  • Equip and support other Catholics in the essential work of evangelization

  • Grow personally in love, service and knowledge through community life and continued formation

Outreach Team members receive intensive formation & training at the beginning of their 9-month experience. They begin by exploring the fundamental beliefs of the Catholic faith: sacraments, Mass, prayer, scripture, evangelization and God’s loving desire for humanity. Their formation and training period ends with practical skills in youth ministry and some hands-on experiences to help them further understand their call as missionaries in the New Evangelization.
